LEBRON LEAVING MIAMI?!?!

It wasn’t—and still isn’t—easy for Miamians to find the words or to collect their thoughts after learning Lebron was leaving Miami for Cleveland. After two straight championships, the Heat had just been shellacked by the Spurs in the Finals. It wasn’t pretty. But Miami would be back. “Not one…not two…not three…not four…” the saying went. But then the man who said those infamous words went without as much of a clue or goodbye.

In his letter to the world, there was no mention of Miami Heat fans. It was an absolute thrill to watch him and the Heat come together as a team and play the past four seasons. His decision to leave Miami seems as sudden and surprising as his arrival. Like man’s hottest ex-girlfriend, we’ll miss you Lebron. Some nights we’ll miss you real bad. But we won’t miss the drama unrelated to rings. We won’t miss your indecisiveness. We won’t miss your strange blend of paleo diet social media updates mixed with multi-million-dollar McDonalds endorsements. While you’re up there in Cleveland throwin up chalk smoke, we’ll be down here rooting hard for the home boys keepin it real in the 305.
